Shirrel Lee "Bud"  Lucas
Shirrel “Bud” Lee Lucas, 80, of Piedmont, OH formerly of Paden City, WV died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 while at Wheeling Hospital.

Bud was born April 23, 1937 in Triadelphia, WV; son of the late David and Bertha (Deavers) Lucas, Sr.

He was a retired truck driver for Teamsters Union No. 697, loved golfing, bowling, hunting and fishing; member of Moose Lodge No. 931 for fifty years, member of Fairpoint Polish club in Belmont County and baptized in Paden City Christian Church, but recently attended the Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Piedmont, OH.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an adolescent sister, Caroline Lucas and grandson, Michael Lough.

Surviving are his wife of eleven years, Donna (White) Lucas; three daughters, Debbie (Arnold) Cochran of New Martinsville, WV, Carol Brooks of Proctor, WV and Pam (David) Glendening of South Dakota; step-daughter, Nikki White of Proctor, WV; three brothers, David (Patricia) Lucas of Sistersville, WV, Paul (Betty) Lucas of Westover, WV and John (Shirley Martin) Lucas of Morgantown, WV; sister, Helen Hoke of Kingwood, WV; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-5 p.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, with service being held at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Burial to be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Bud’s name, to the American Cancer Society.
